Little means much

Many people today may come to the conclusion that the little that they have to offer is insignificant when in fact the opposite is true. And because of this thought pattern they may refuse to do anything at all. The bible says to despise not the day of small beginnings because doing so will prohibit an individual from doing anything at all. Take for example the five thousand men that Jesus fed which possibly could have been as many as twenty thousand people including women and children. The Disciples looked at what they had to offer to such a large crowd as insignificant because Philip said two hundred pennyworth would not be sufficient for such a crowd. When you only look at your situation from a practical perspective , you will always come up short in areas, but the bible also says that Jesus knew what he would do. The Lord always has an answer, and it is up to us not to only look at things practically...but spiritually also. Spend some time in prayer and get an answer on what to do practically. A young lad had five loaves and two fish so remember this was a little lads lunch and not what we think of in today's terms as a "loaf of bread". Jesus blessed, brake and distributed the bread , then gave to the Disciples and they gave to the people and to every one's amazement, little became much. If people would give as giving unto the Lord, a cycle of giving would be created until there would be more than enough. There were twelve baskets left over as the fragments were gathered up. El Shaddi the all sufficient one and the God who is more than enough will manifest in the little given if we don't look at it as insufficient. This principle is not just a financial one, but will affect every area of giving. If you give a little of your time , it will be increased, a word of advice, wisdom will increase, and the list goes on. Penny's add up to nickels and nickels to dimes, and dimes to quarters, and quarters,to dollars, so do not despise the day of small beginnings.
